Hi, I'm Marshai!
After 20+ years serving in Program Management, Lead Contract Negotiator and Acquisition roles in the Public, Private and International sectors, I’ve gain extensive experience in understanding human motivations and a keen discernment of messaging.
With these skills, I want to provide families with support to develop media literacy and mindfulness within the context of Black culture and education. Please see the About Page for the Mission Statement.
In addition, 'Tis the Path is a labor of love. I want families to connect and celebrate Black culture in a positive way that is catered to all age ranges through our weekly newsletter.
On the personal side…
Growing up, I wanted to be an anthropologist with a dash of cryptozoology. Atlas, I chickened out and went the business finance route. I want to send love to my 10-year-old self. Tis the Path is the first step to satisfy my childhood dream and give back to my beloved community. I'm so curious and excited to see where this goes.
I currently live in southern California with my two young sons and husband.
I look forward to growing with all of you.
